Why Peerali Law Exists

Kristopher Peerali started at the top of the wrong side. A USC Gould-trained attorney, he joined one of the country’s largest defense firms, representing Fortune 500 companies in high-stakes litigation. Working a major talc case-defending a corporation against women who had developed ovarian cancer-he found himself better funded, better prepared, and winning. The company saved money; the women lost. He realized his training was making him a very effective part of a machine he didn’t believe in.

In 2021 he left defense work entirely and co-founded Peerali Law with Serena Peerali, using everything he’d learned about how corporations and insurers build their cases to fight for the people on the other side of them.

A Different Kind of Firm

Peerali Law is built on a principle that runs counter to most personal injury firms: take fewer cases, and work each one harder. Our founding attorneys deliberately carry a limited caseload, so every client gets a trained litigator working their file personally-not a paralegal and a form letter.

It’s also why other law firms across Los Angeles refer their most complex and high-stakes cases directly to us. When a case goes to litigation, when an insurer won’t move, or when a client needs a trial lawyer rather than a negotiator.

Kristopher Peerali – Founding Attorney

Kris began his career defending Fortune 500 companies-training now applied entirely on behalf of injury victims. Since co-founding Peerali Law, the firm has recovered over $100 million for clients, including a $16.3 million premises liability settlement. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC).

Serena Peerali – Founding Attorney

Serena has spent her entire career in plaintiff-side injury litigation, rising to senior associate at Kabateck LLP before co-founding the firm. At Kabateck she secured a $2.1 million medical malpractice settlement that ranked among the Top 100 Personal Injury Settlements in the U.S. in 2020. She has served as first and second chair in multiple jury trials.

Ali Hosseini – Injury Lawyer
J.D., California Western School of Law | State Bar of California, admitted 2017 (Bar No. 316470)
Ali represents injury clients in courts across California and joined Peerali Law in 2024. A graduate of the Gerry Spence Method, he was named a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2026-a recognition awarded to the top 5% of attorneys in the state.

Case Results

$16.3M – Premises liability, Los Angeles. One of the Top 10 premises settlements in California for 2025.
$5.2M – Pedestrian accident, Los Angeles. Liability disputed by the insurer; settled at policy limits after forensic investigation.
$968K – Medical transport accident, Lodi. California’s MICRA cap challenged and defeated – over 3x the capped figure.
$300K – Four-car collision, Los Angeles. Taken over from another firm that had accepted $74,000; rebuilt and settled for 4x.
