Background
Kristopher L. Peerali began his career at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. There, he represented Fortune 500 companies in complex litigation before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and matters reaching the U.S. Supreme Court. For his achievements, Kris was selected to co-author a section on the California Consumer Privacy Act (2018) for the California Litigation Review (California Lawyers Association).
Kristopher Peerali had been working towards this kind of leading business-litigation career, ever since he earned his Juris Doctor from USC Gould School of Law (2018).
But his convictions led him to change course.
Human Impact
Kris pivoted to personal injury after realizing his skills could have greater human impact in plaintiff-side work.
He joined one of California’s largest personal-injury firms. Now, instead of representing America’s leading companies, he was doing battle with their insurers and legal teams to win ordinary people the justice they deserve following life-changing injuries.
In 2021, Kris co-founded Peerali Law to pair Big-Law training with plaintiff-side advocacy. The firm has obtained more than $50 million for injured clients, including a $16.3 million premises-liability resolution in Los Angeles. To date, when Kris has taken a personal-injury case to trial in California as lead counsel, he has not received a defense verdict.*
